Avignon was a pretty town but aside from Palais des Papes there was not much to do. The surrounding attractions such as the Lavender museum were all tourist traps. What we were interested in was laying in some Lavender fields, which was learned are not even close to Avignon. The highlights were wine tasting in the Palais des Papes and having dinner in a ferris wheel.
