20 years in Toronto and i am still thrilled about how the city surprises me! The other day i went to lunch at Jamie Kennedys Gilead Cafe & Bistro. I felt that I had escaped into one of the cafes i search for in NYC. Its in the east end of town, hidden into a street the size of a laneway. A very rustic interior with wall panels of old barn wood and a massive chalk board wall as the menu. The food was delicious, i even bought a little something to go.
